1)2009年政府新推出TFSA免税帐户,可能有部分人会将免税帐户里的钱取出来去买RRSP;如你有此打算,不妨在月底(今年内)先TFSA内的钱转出来,明年方可补购所取出的这部分额度,切记;
2)2009年房屋维新特别退税额$1,350,购买材料的截止日期是2010年1月31日;可以先购买材料,以后再用,但人工费不能报;
3)若打算从RRSP取钱用作首期来买房子,请注意90日的限期,即购买RRSP后需等待90天之后才能免税取出来买房;上限$25,000,夫妇两人共$50,000(考虑Spousal RRSP和RRSP Loan,详细来电咨询);
4)别错过今年的RESP(除了政府20%的补贴,可望未来投资有更好的回报);
5)时下回潮热,若你打算做海龟(即become non-resident),且之前从RRSP中取钱用于首次购房,请注意在60天内归还所欠RRSP款项。

Ontario’s Liberal government embarked Friday on a costly climb-down from part of its plan to harmonize the provincial sales tax with the GST, promising rebates of up to $24,000 for all new-home buyers, even if they purchase a multi-million dollar mansion. ![]()
Originally, the rebates first announced in the March budget were to apply only to new homes costing $400,000 or less.
They were intended to offset the fact the new 13 per cent harmonized sales tax would apply to new homes, which are currently exempt from the eight per cent PST.
However, all new-home buyers will now qualify for the PST rebate on the first $400,000 of the purchase price, regardless of the final cost.
